Where are you from/based?
I was born and lived in Malta for 31 years before moving to Brussels, Belgium in 2005.
Why did you start Food and Wine Gazette?
Food and wine are my passion but I also love writing and photography so this is the perfect medium to combine most of my passions together.
Where will you never find me?
The book Fast Food Nation which I read soon after it was published has had a huge impact on me. Alas, while I am not necessarily a food snob you will not find me in certain global fast-food chains.
